• Недавно Pink Paislee на своей страничке в Фейсбук извинились за недоразумение с одним из листов из их новой коллекции Fancy Free, которую нарисовала для них скрапбукер и блоггер Пейдж Эванс (Paige Evans). В конце прошлого года перед зимней выставкой CHA2016 Пейдж показала в своем блоге набор картинок из Пинтереста, которыми, по ее словам, она вдохновлялась при создании своей коллекции. Одна из картинок оказалась фотографией картины художницы Бритт Басс Тернер (Britt Bass Turner).
Оригинал сообщения: "Before we design products at Pink Paislee, we gather images of all kinds that inspire us and create a "moodboard." The collective images are a starting point that help us figure out the general style and direction we want our creativity to take. In the end, we work to create something fun and original.
When we recently learned that a paper design in our new Fancy Free collection too closely resembled a painting by artist Britt Bass Turner we were quick to email Ms. Turner to address the situation. The same design was also used intermittently in some of the embellishments in the collection. We agree that the design was much too derivative of Ms. Turner's awesome painting "He & I."
We sincerely regret the error and have amicably come to a solution that's acceptable to both Ms. Turner and Pink Paislee. Somehow, this one slipped through our regular review process, so we've taken steps to make sure something like this doesn't happen again. Our sincere thanks to Britt for being willing to work things out!
